Congratulations and a Fond Farewell

We would like to wish a fond farewell to Mr. Glenn Noack. Mr. Noack attended Whitehall-Coplay School District, helping the 1982 Boys Basketball team to their only State Championship. He went on to Bloomsburg University where he earned his teaching degree. He came back to his alma mater to teach Middle School Math. In 1997, Mr. Noack, always striving to improve the lives of his students, became the 7th Grade Guidance Counselor before becoming Assistant Principal at the Middle School. When the Principal position became available at the Steckel Elementary School, he chose this new endeavor. Mr. Noack served as principal at Steckel Elementary for 15 years. In 2017, the Middle School was calling him. He came back to where he started to finish out his career as our principal. His leadership was appreciated for these last few years. He will be missed. Good Luck in your retirement Mr. Noack!
As one door closes, another opens. We would like to congratulate Mrs. Angela Friebolin on being selected as our new Middle School Principal. Mrs. Friebolin is a graduate of Muhlenberg College with a Master's and Principal Certification from Wilkes University. She began her teaching career at Northwestern Lehigh where she taught Algebra, Communications and Special Education at the high school and middle school levels. She moved on to teach Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science and assisted with English classes at the Career Academy Program for Lehigh Career and Technical Institute. In 2008, Mrs. Friebolin joined the Whitehall-Coplay Middle School Staff as the Assistant principal and K-12 ESOL Coordinator. She is now ready to take the reigns and lead us into the future. Congratulations Mrs. Friebolin!
