School Secretaries
School secretaries are often considered to be the heartbeat of a school. The secretary is typically the first person you will see when entering the building and will also be the last person you see as you leave or sign out. Most school personnel will gladly tell you that if information is to be found, the secretary will know how to find it.

School Counselors
The Whitehall-Coplay School District Counseling Department welcomes our students, parents, faculty and staff, and community at large to access the services we provide. We coordinate programs of specialized services to students and families in the following areas: Academic, Career and Social Emotional Developmental Services. These services contribute to the effectiveness of the overall educational process for our students.

School Nurses
The WCSD employs a Certified School Nurse in each of its five school buildings. Our school health rooms provide many services for our students. The overall goal of our health rooms is to maintain the health, safety and wellness of every student to ensure success in the classroom. School Psychologists
School psychologists are uniquely qualified members of school teams that support students' ability to learn and teachers' ability to teach. They apply expertise in mental health, learning, and behavior, to help children and youth succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally. School psychologists partner with families, teachers, school administrators, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments that strengthen connections between home, school, and the community. The School Psychologist assists multidisciplinary evaluation teams determine a child’s eligibility to receive special education services. -
School Resource Officers
School Resource Officers (SRO) of the Whitehall Township Police Department are certified police officers responsible for upholding the law and are dedicated to working with the Whitehall-Coplay School District to ensure a safe learning environment. SRO’s provide valuable resources to the school community by fostering positive relationships, serving as mentors, teachers, and role models for the school community.

Parent Liason
A parent liaison is someone familiar with the challenges of parenting. Although not a counselor, he establishes communication between the school and parents, helping them get the information, support, and help they need to ensure their children's academic and social success in school. The Parent Liaison empowers parents to become positive and active participants in their child's education. The Parent Liaison also interprets for Hispanic parents who need to communicate more effectively with school staff.

Curriculum and Instruction
The Office of Curriculum and Instruction oversees curriculum, instruction, assessments, professional development and instructional resources for the District's schools.

Athletics
Athletics Overview:
The Whitehall Athletic Department serves student-athletes in grades 7 through 12. We offer 21 sports and 49 different sports teams on various levels. Sports are divided into Fall, Winter, and Spring seasons with varying opportunities in each season.Contact Information:

District Administration
District and school administrators are responsible for providing instructional leadership and developing, implementing, and evaluating district and school systems and policies. District administrators include superintendents and central administration staff under the direction of a school board.

The Whitehall-Coplay School District strives to serve the diverse community by providing educational opportunities designed to challenge students to strive for personal excellence and responsible citizenship. The District seeks to create a positive environment where all students, parents/guardians, and the community feel welcome and a sense of belonging.
Our goal for our English Learners is to experience academic success while acquiring English in order to become capable and productive members of society.

Special Education Services
Children ages three through twenty one can be eligible for special education programs and services. If the District identifies a child as possibly in need of such services, the parent or guardian will be notified of applicable procedures. If parents believe that the child may be eligible for special education, the parent should contact the student’s school psychologist or school counselor.
