Youth Law Enforcement Police Academy
This is a week-long summer program for Whitehall students in the 5th and 6th grade. The program is aimed to give students an understanding of police work and the agencies that assist police. The program also focuses on building long lasting positive relationships with the students. Advanced Youth Law Enforcement Police Academy
This is a week-long summer program for Whitehall students in the 5th and 6th grade who graduated from the Youth Law Enforcement Academy. This program is aimed to build upon the skills that the students learned in the basic youth police academy.
School Resource Officer Scholarship Award
Every year the School Resource Officers award 1 graduating senior with a $1,000 scholarship. The $1,000 should be used to assist the student with purchasing college supplies. The recipient of the scholarship will be decided by both School Resource Officers and is available here. The award recipient will be decided based on:
- Written essay
- School behaviors
- School attendance
Any relevant information provided by the School Counselors and the Communities in Schools Representative.
