Step 1:
Who: Family
What: Enrollment, Data Entry

• Family completes Online Registration

Step 2:
Who: ESL Teacher
What: Initial Testing/ Identification

• ESL Teacher reviews Home Language Survey
• ESL Teacher conducts a Family Interview
• ESL Teacher reviews the student’s academic records (if available)
• ESL Teacher administers WIDA Screener (if applicable)
• WIDA Screener for grades K-12
• ESL Teacher notifies family of testing results
• English Learner Entry Notification
• Not English Learner Letter
