Mrs. Renee Sallit, Assistant Superintendent of Schools

Renee began her educational career after graduating from East Stroudsburg University in 2006. She started as a high school math teacher in the Northwestern Lehigh School District before continuing her teaching career at the middle school level in the Allentown School District. During her time at ASD, she earned her master's degree in Educational Leadership from Cabrini College. She began her administrative career in Allentown before transitioning to the Northampton Area School District, where she served as an elementary assistant principal and principal. While in Northampton, she started her doctoral work and earned her Superintendent's Letter of Eligibility from Gwynedd Mercy University. Renee is currently the Assistant Superintendent of Schools for the Whitehall-Coplay School District, having previously served as the Director of Teaching, Learning, and Technology. She has a wonderful husband, Andrew (a 6th-grade math teacher in the Allentown School District), and they have three children: Xayden (17), Xyler (15), and Xella (12). Their free time is often spent attending wrestling events for their boys and basketball games for their daughter. Coming from very large families, they are rarely alone, traveling in packs and enjoying a life surrounded by love. Renee also enjoys reading, baking sweet treats, and trying new projects on her Cricut.
