  • Pathways to Manufacturing program is offered at Northampton Community College at our Fowler Center. This new free training opportunity is designed to promote manufacturing careers and provide students with the entry-level skills necessary to be successful. Students will learn about the many manufacturing opportunities that  offer:

    ·         High salaries (starting at $20-$23/hour)

    ·         Great Benefits

    ·         Immediate placement   

    This grant is a funded program open to students who are at least 18 years old.

  • Lehigh Valley Health Network - Emergency Medicine Institute is running this year’s Teen EMS Camp geared towards career professionalism, health and wellness, and skills for public safety careers. It is for teenagers ages 13-18 years old. Various public safety professionals (healthcare, EMS, fire, police, etc.) will come and discuss their career and interact with the teenagers. They will have the opportunity to tour Cedar Crest Hospital and MedEvac helicopter and will be certified in CPR and First Aid. This camp will be hosted on August 17-19th from 8am-3:45pm in Allentown.

  • Summer Camp Counselors at East Allen Township's Bicentennial Park
    From June 13th to July 29th
    Monday thru Friday 8:30 am to 1:30 pm
    Candidates must be going into their Senior Year of High School.
    The only day off is Monday, July 4th (for the 4th of July Holiday)
    Must be able to work everyday with no time off. (except when sick)

  • Future Entrepreneurs (FE) Program

    The FE program is a five-week comprehensive life skills and entrepreneurial summer training program that includes a variety of internships in various career pathways such as Healthcare, Manufacturing, Culinary Arts, Education, etc. The program is available at no cost to participating students. The first week includes a one week residential stay at Northampton Community College (NCC) and a college-like academic experience. The life skills and academic business training at NCC and Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC). Upon conclusion of the academic portion, the students will be matched with local businesses/organizations for internships where mentors share real-life business challenges and opportunities. Upon completion of the internship program, the students will receive their stipend at the graduation ceremony.

    Program Dates: Sunday, July 17th through Friday, July 22nd.

  • Cornell University is offering students to apply to the universities Precollege Summer Program. Cornell University Precollege Studies Program, offers courses online and on campus. As one of the nation's longest running and most highly regarded precollege academic programs, it gives motivated students the chance to

    • Get a head start on college by earning 3 to 8 credits and a Cornell transcript
    • Immerse themselves in rigorous university courses taught by top Cornell faculty
    • Prep for college applications with one-on-one admissions counseling
    • Connect with a diverse group of high school students from around the world. Students choose from regular undergraduate Cornell courses in Arts and Architecture, Business and Hospitality, Engineering, Health and Humanities, International Relations, Science and Technology, Social Change, Veterinary Medicine, and more. They can also combine on-campus and/or online courses to create their own six- or nine-week program.

    Courses are offered between May 31 and August 2, 2022. Limited financial aid is available for on-campus courses.

  • Bucknell Academy Summer Experience is a collaborative residential experience where students are invited to explore the value of a liberal arts perspective in making challenging decisions to improve today’s world. At BASE, students will experience interdisciplinary study from top tier professors while challenging their thought processes. This year’s theme is The Anthropocene: How have humans permanently changed the planet, and what do we do about it?
