Middle school students recently visited the PBS 39 studio for the Good News Media Experience. Our Zephyrs explored careers in broadcasting and worked alongside professionals to film school announcements, gaining hands-on experience in various media production roles.

Whitehall 6th and 8th graders were recently featured in Lehigh University’s "Joy of Education" Art Show. From colorful mandalas to realistic graphite portraits, our Zephyrs’ impressive work celebrated local talent and brought great joy to all who visited the gallery.

Whitehall chorus students exemplified collaboration at this year’s Lehigh County Chorus Festival. By uniting with peers from other schools, our Zephyrs demonstrated remarkable teamwork and musical skill. We are proud of their commitment to harmony, both on and offstage.

Before a recent home basketball game, the District officially welcomed the Class of 2026 into the Zephyr Athletics Hall of Fame. The ceremony honored four individuals who have left a lasting mark on our athletic community through their achievements.

Zoology students recently engaged in hands-on learning through an interactive session with live raptors. By collaborating with science professionals, the class explored the practical applications of wildlife biology, bringing the curriculum to life through inspiring, real-world experiences.

Kindergarten students built confidence this December by delivering the morning announcements! This hands-on opportunity allowed our youngest learners to practice public speaking and leadership, essential traits for a successful start to their educational journey.
 

Whitehall High School is pleased to honor its newest Hall of Fame inductees: Rick Bowman, Kourtney Cunningham, Dean Kriebel, Elizabeth Dietrich, and the 1976 Zephyrs Football Team. The induction begins Friday, January 23, before the varsity basketball game.

Zephyr Elementary launched its "Profile of a Zephyr" celebration with a fun "Masked Singer" assembly! November spotlights the "Leader - Communicative" trait, exemplified by our Beez Buddies, who serve as welcoming ambassadors and vital voices for our school community.

We are highlighting Mrs. Baker for her engaging and inclusive instruction! Whether she is connecting arrays to movement in math or piloting new online assessments, her dedication to student success and strong relationships truly embodies the Steckel spirit.

Innovation was on display as Zephyr and WCMS students competed in the PA Keystone STEM Competition! Using design thinking to solve complex problems, our teams excelled, with the Middle School group taking home 2nd place honors.

The Marching Zephyr Band and Music Parent Association proudly hosted the "Music in Motion" competition on October 26th. Continuing a 50-year tradition, we welcomed 14 bands to our campus for a spectacular day of performance. Thank you to our dedicated volunteers!

Our Kindergarten hallways are blooming with nursery rhymes! Using the new Amplify curriculum, students practiced rhyming and vocabulary throughout September. We are proud to display the creative work that highlights these fundamental literacy skills.

It’s been a season of fun at Gockley! Kindergarteners celebrated the "Q and U wedding" in costume, while First Grade students enjoyed a colorful day of hands-on learning at the Crayola Experience in Easton.

Space exploration came to life in the classroom! Students wrapped up their solar system unit by modeling planetary orbits in a transformed "galaxy" room, completing the day with themed artwork and stories.

Slime time! Steckel students joined forces with High School Chief Science Officers for a fun, hands-on science activity creating gooey slime.

The Photography Club offers a supportive space for photographers to explore creativity. From winning national awards to partnering with the Whitehall-Coplay Press, our members capture our community's best moments while building professional skills.

Physics came to life for our 8th graders! Students designed and built their own balloon-powered cars, using critical thinking to master the laws of force and motion. This hands-on project turned the classroom into a lab of innovation.
