Notice is hereby made that the Board of School Directors of the Whitehall-Coplay School District will conduct the following 2024-2025 meetings which will be held in the Whitehall High School Large Group Instruction Room, 3800 Mechanicsville Road, Whitehall, PA, and transition to the Education Center Board Room at 2932 Zephyr Blvd., Whitehall, PA in March of 2025.
Regular Committee meetings will be held the second Monday of each month, beginning at 4:00 p.m. Committee meetings are not scheduled in July.
Committee meetings will be held as follows: January 13, April 14, August 11, and November 10, Education/Student Activities Committee will meet at 4:00 p.m., and the Operations/Transportation Committee, and the Finance/Personnel Committee will follow consecutively. On February 10, May 12, and September 8, the Finance/Personnel Committee will meet at 4:00 p.m., the Education/Student Activities Committee, and the Operations/Transportation Committee will follow consecutively. On March 10, June 9, and October 13, the Operations/Transportation Committee will meet at 4:00 p.m., and the Finance/Personnel Committee, and Education/Student Activities will follow consecutively.
Special Board meetings will precede the Committee meetings on June 9, and August 11, 2025, beginning at 4:00 p.m. and Committee meetings will follow consecutively.
Regular School Board meetings will be held on the fourth Monday of each month, beginning at 7:00 p.m., with the following exceptions: Monday, December 16, 2024, and Tuesday, May 19, 2025.
The Board welcomes citizens to its open meetings and invites them to bring to its attention matters of concern. A member of the public, present at a Board meeting, may address the Board in accordance with law and Board policy and procedures. Citizens desiring to be heard by the Board at a regular or special meeting without prior notification, may be allotted a reasonable amount of time by the President to present the issue of concern after submitting a Request to Speak form prior to the start of the meeting.
