Notice is hereby made that the Board of School Directors of the Whitehall-Coplay School District will conduct the following 2023-2024 meetings in the Whitehall High School Large Group Instruction Room, 3800 Mechanicsville Road, Whitehall, PA:
                  
Regular Committee meetings will be held on the second Monday of each month, beginning at 4:00 p.m. Committee meetings are not scheduled in July.
 
Committee meetings will be held as follows: January 8, April 8, August 12, and November 11, the Finance/Personnel Committee will meet at 4:00 p.m., and the Education/Student Activities and Operations/Transportation Committee will follow consecutively. On February 12, May 13, and September 9, the Operations/Transportation Committee will meet at 4:00 p.m., and the Finance/Personnel Committee and Education/Student Activities Committee will follow consecutively. On March 11, June 10, and October 14, the Education/Student Activities Committee will meet at 4:00 p.m., and the Operations/Transportation Committee and Finance/Personnel Committee will follow consecutively. 
 
Special Board meetings will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, June 10, 2024, and Monday, August 12, 2024, with committee meetings to follow.
 
Regular School Board meetings will be held on the fourth Monday of each month, beginning at 7:00 p.m., with the following exceptions: Monday, December 18, 2023, and Tuesday, May 28, 2024.
 
The Board welcomes citizens to its open meetings and invites them to bring to its attention matters of concern. A member of the public, present at a Board meeting, may address the Board in accordance with law and Board policy and procedures. Citizens desiring to be heard by the Board at a regular or special meeting without prior notification may be allotted a reasonable amount of time by the President to present the issue of concern after submitting a Request to Speak form prior to the start of the meeting.

WHITEHALL-COPLAY SCHOOL DISTRICT
MIDDLE SCHOOL & STECKEL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
EXTERIOR WINDOW REPLACEMENT AND MODIFICATIONS

The Whitehall Coplay School District is soliciting sealed bids for the Middle School and Steckel Elementary School Exterior Window Replacement and Modifications Project, in the form of a single prime lump sum contract. The Project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, as amended, 43 P.S. 165 1 et seq., and reference is made to the prevailing minimum wage rates applicable to the Project as promulgated by the Secretary of Labor and Industry.

Sealed Bids shall be delivered to the Whitehall Coplay School District, Temporary Administration Building, 5290 W Coplay Rd, Whitehall, PA 18052 no later than 1:00 p.m. prevailing time on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read.

A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be conducted at the Whitehall-Coplay School District Middle School located at 2930 Zephyr Blvd., Whitehall, PA 18052 on Monday, October 14, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. Representatives of the Project Engineer (CHA) will provide project details at this meeting. Non- attendees will not be permitted to bid.

Electronic Contract Documents: To Bid the Project, prospective bidders must obtain the Contract Documents in PDF format directly from CHA by contacting dei@chasolutions.com. Documents will be sent electronically after receipt of payment of a non-refundable fee of Twenty-five Dollars ($25) payable to “CHA”. Bidders must supply the following information with their request for documents: company name, contact person, complete address, phone and fax numbers, and email address. Documents will be available on Thursday, October 10, 2024.

Whitehall Coplay School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part thereof and to waive informalities as it deems best to protect its interest.
