CRITERIA

James A. Davis Principal's Scholarship   Obtains a 3.0 GPA, active in school and community, attending a 4 year college and from single parent(guardian) family.
John Ashner, Jr. Memorial Award   Demonstrates musical ability, plays piano/organ/keyboard, involved in H.S. music programs, positive influence in the classroom, above average GPA in music courses
Chad Leibenguth Memorial Scholarship- 2 awards available   Demonstrates aptitude for computer technology, plans to continue education in computer field, has taken various H.S. computer courses, high GPA in computer courses
Chris Attieh Memorial Scholarship- 2 or 3 awards available   Attending College or Trade school or entering ArmSvcs, exemplifies kindness &high level of morality, volunteers in the community, has plans to continue qualities in the future
Class of 1949 Leadership Award   Demonstrates "quality of thinking," positive leadership around school & community, demonstrates empathy, integrity central to thought & actions, cooperative, positive risk taker, contributing member of family
Class of 1955 Scholarship in honor of Class Advisor, William T. Helfrich   Continuing post H.S. education to become an English teacher or with education major, High Honor Roll/Honor Roll, demonstrates interest in all areas of English, i.e. poetry, literature, etc.
Whitehall Class of 1959 Memorial Award- 4 awards available (2 male/2 female)   Honors student, class rank approx. 21 - 50, active in H.S. community, pursuing high education
The Craig J. Geiger Memorial Baseball Scholarship   Member of H.S. baseball team for min. of 3 yrs, member of team during senior yr, min 3.0 GPA, pursuing a degree in coll. or tech. school, need to submit essay, obtain ltr. of recom.
Davis Family Scholarship In Memory of Tom Davis   Student in good standing, active in community member of Boy Scouts, completed or working on Eagle Scout, attending college after H.S.
Superintendent's Award   Good school citizenship, demonstrates ability to motivate & inspire others, demonstrates ability to take charge & see activity through to completion, creative, is recognized for commitment, displays respect & courtesy, maintains high personal standards, proactive-takes action to avoid or resolve problems
Fullerton American Legion Post 367 Award- 2 awards available (1 male/1 female)   Demonstrates patriotism, is involved in service to community, maintains high personal standards, is a member of a high school athletic team, continuing education at college
George Elias Memorial Scholarship   Student in good standing, active in community, maintains average to above average grades, pursuing higher education, demonstrates commitment to school community
Nederostek Family Scholarship in Memory of Eric J. Nederostek   Exhibits high level of mechanical aptitude, enrolled in Auto Tech Prog at LCTI, plans to further education in automotive field
Commitment to Education for Science and Math Award   Pursuing Science or math education major, or sci/math major, honor student, demonstrates aptitude in the sciences
Porter Lodge No. 284 F&AM Award- 2 awards available   Pursuing Arts & Science educ., demonstrates good moral character in school & comm., maintains avg. to above avg. grades
Roberta Mohrey Memorial Nursing Scholarship   Pursuing a nursing degree, min. 3.0 avg., demonstrates empathy, maintains high personal standards
Ruhmel Contracting, Inc. Award   Enrolled in a construction trade program at LCTI, plans to continue education at trade school  and/or work as craftsman in the construction industry, maintains average grades, maintains high personal standards
Shaunice Jarjous Memorial Scholarship   Member of cheerleading squad, if there are no senior cheerleaders - a football or basketball player may apply, submit essay describing a time you made a difference or an impact on someone else's life, demonstrate compassion to others, demonstrate commitment to family & friends
Whitehall Beautification & Garden Club Award   Enrolled in  Landscaping/Horticulture/Architectural Design program at LCTI, plan to continue education or work as craftsman in this field, maintain average grades, maintain high personal standards
Whitehall Lions Club Memorial Award    Active in Leo Club, involved in service to community, pursuing higher education, maintains average grades, maintains high personal standards
Whitehall Township Mayor's Award   Whitehall resident, demonstrates commitment to community, demonstrates leadership qualities, maintains high personal standards, maintains average grades
Board of Education Scholarship Award   Demonstrates unselfish concern for others, demonstrates leadership abilities, maintains high personal standards, is recognized for dedication through strength & enthusiasm, maintains respect & courtesy regardless of challenges
Whitehall-Coplay PTO Award- 3 awards available   Parent is member of PTO, GPA 2.5 - 3.0, pursuing higher education, demonstrates commitment to school community
Ed Hudak Memorial Scholarship   Student in the district for at least 4 yrs., pursuing higher education at accredited school of higher learning, student in good standing with good attendance record, active in school and community, demonstrates cooperative attitude- is positive & enthusiastic, participates in extra-curricular activities
