Mission Statement

The mission of the Whitehall-Coplay School District is to serve the diverse community by providing educational opportunities designed to challenge students to strive for personal excellence and responsible citizenship.

Student Performance Objective #1: Student Academic Performance

By 2017, 100% of Whitehall High School students will be proficient in the core subjects of reading, math, writing, and science, as measured by the following: PSSA, SAT/ACT, Honor Roll, and Keystone Exams.

By 2017, all students will demonstrate an increase in interpersonal responsibility, effective conflict-resolution skills, and respect toward themselves, peers, teachers, staff, and the local community that enables teachers to teach and students to learn as measured by: Attendance and Suspensions.

By 2017, all students will have increased opportunities to select and participate in courses and programs that will help them maximize their learning potential as measured by: Participation in Tutoring/Remediation Program, Participation in Advanced Courses, and Participation in Extra-Curricular Clubs and Student Activities.
