MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS Tuesday, May 16, 2006 (Day B) 161 JUNIORS/SENIORS: Whitehall Township is actively seeking applications for the position of Camp Whitehall Recreation Leader for the 2006 Summer Recreation Program. The camp program will run from June 19th through August 11th from 8:00 - 4:30 p.m. If you are interested you can call the township building and ask for Christine Ruth at 610-437-5524 (Ext. 150). MARCHING BAND MEMBERS: REMINDER: There is another "rookie" session tonight from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. JAZZ BAND MEMBERS: REMINDER: There is practice today after school!! SENIORS: CAFETERIA INFORMATION: The end of the school year is drawing near. Please be sure that you check on the balance remaining in your lunch account. Balances can be checked at any lunch line or on our website. Any excessive balance in your lunch account can be transferred to a younger brother or sister in any building in our school district at the end of this school year. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. TRACK ATHLETES: Please return your uniform to Coach Sebesta today after school at the field house. If your uniform is not turned in by this Tuesday, you will be issued a bill to pay for the uniform. STUDENTS: Any girls interested in playing summer league basketball should sign up on the front counter of the main office. You will be contacted regarding a schedule. STUDENTS: You can fill out an entry form to win a SONY PSYC and 15 song Napster Music Download Card sponsored by National Penn Bank. There is a box and forms on the counter in the main office. Stop by before or after school to register to win. For more information see the posters displayed around the building and on the main office windows. Good Luck!! MEETING INFORMATION NEW SPANISH NATIONAL HONORS SOCIETY MEMBERS: A mandatory meeting will be held this Friday, May 19th for all new members at 3:00 p.m. in B115. Important information will be discussed and officers will be elected. GERMAN CLUB/GERMAN NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY MEMBERS: There will be a short meeting after school this Thursday, May 18th in B116. Be there!! RESPECT CLUB MEMBERS: There will be a brief meeting today in the auditorium at 2:55 p.m. to discuss the end of the year and 8th grade tours. LONDON CLUB MEMBERS: You must attend a meeting in A107 this Wednesday, May 17th at 6:45 p.m. Please bring two copies of your passport. COUNSELING INFORMATION JUNIORS: A representative from the following college will be visiting WHS next week. If you are interested in meeting with them, you MUST sign up in the counseling office this week. STUDENTS: Sophomores and juniors who are interested in dual enrollment for the next school year 2006-2007 and who are currently in the REGULAR courses of English 4, Micro/Macro Economics, Speech/Public Speaking, AP US History, Sociology, Basic Legal Concepts 2, Issues in the 20th Century, Probability and Statistics, Computer Programming C++, and Drawing MUST still complete the appropriate form in the counseling office to CHANGE these courses to dual enrollment status. Otherwise you may not be placed in a dual enrollment section. Also, please notify your counselor if you would have interest in enrolling in a FREE dual enrollment course Introduction to Psychology (Fall) and/or Sociology (Spring) after school hours (3:55 - 5:16 p.m.) away from the Whitehall campus for next year.
